Power of Words

People's perceptions are quite fascinating to witness and explore. According to someone in my family I am a “looser-lover” for defending people who do not "deserve" to be defended. Wow, that sounded quite harsh to me but I did not let me ego get too wrapped up in the message. Misery seems to like company and when you are a happy and loving person someone who remains fearful in your circle of people may want to hold you back just to hold on to you in keeping them company. A judgment like this may sometimes prove fruitful in "putting someone in their place". I chose to get attached to this person’s statement and quickly realized that it was not an accurate reflection of me but was simply a reflection of the lens in which this person is viewing the world.

Our words are powerful weapons. Words create change. Words motivate, and inspire and give hope and love and joy. Words can transform. So how are you speaking to yourself and to others? Are you communicating from a place of love or a place of fear? It only takes a single person to create change and it can only take a few words to set a tidal wave in motion. Change starts with YOU! You can be the optimistic and loving voice in your world that takes on the role of teaching and inspiring others. The only trick to it is to choose to always speak from a place of love. There is no room for judgment when you speak from a place of love. LOVE is mankind's only true religion. It is the common thread of all faith regardless of the labels we place on our connection to a higher power. If all of us would choose to listen and speak from a place of love we would already be eternally joyous and peaceful beings. “Be the change you wish to see in the world.” Speak from LOVE!
